Pediatric Foot Care

Children's feet are still developing, and early intervention can prevent problems from persisting into adulthood. We assess gait and structural concerns in children to determine whether treatment or monitoring is needed.

In-Toeing (Pigeon Toes)

In-Toeing (Pigeon Toes)

In-toeing is a condition where the feet point inward when walking. It can originate from the hip, shin, or foot and is common in young children. While many cases resolve naturally, persistent in-toeing may require gait training, stretching exercises, or orthotic intervention to promote normal alignment as the child grows.

Out-Toeing

Out-Toeing

Out-toeing is the opposite pattern, where the feet point outward during walking. It can be caused by external tibial torsion or hip rotation issues. We evaluate the child's gait, joint range of motion, and muscle development to determine whether observation, exercises, or orthotic support is the appropriate course of action.
